Configure Restaurants (Add/Remove) for Point of Sale (POS)

The Restaurants command on the Point of Sale (POS) Maintenance menu allows you to add (and remove) restaurants, cafes, or other food and beverage service areas of the property.  

Select Restaurants from the Restaurant section of the Point of Sale (POS) Maintenance menu.

The Restaurants Maintenance screen has two sides.

The left side of the screen lists any already configured restaurants for the property.

The right side contains the fields you need to complete in order to add or edit a restaurant for the property.

Your options include the following:

• Click the New button from the toolbar to add a new restaurant.

Complete the fields described below.

OR:

• Select an existing restaurant from the list on the left, and click the Replicate button from the toolbar.

Then change the field information as described below.

• Select an existing restaurant from the list on the left and click the Delete button from the toolbar.

This removes the restaurant from the system, along with all other configurations for that restaurant.

• Enter a number into the List Order field.

This determines where in a list the restaurant appears listed in the interface.

This field is optional. If no order is specified, the restaurants are listed in alphabetical order in the Point of Sale (POS)interface.

• Enter a name in the Restaurant field. This is the name that appears for the restaurant in the interface.

This field is required.

When you are finished adding or editing a restaurant, click the Save button to save the changes.
