Room Chart

The Room Chart provides a graphical display of the room numbers and the guests or work orders that are in the room for a specified date or date range.

To access the Room Chart, click Room Chart from the Action Bar,

OR

Click Room Chart from the Status section of the Full Menu

Once the Room Chart is open, use the drop-down lists to select a date range, and then filter for bedded rooms only, or filter by building or by room type. Click the Refresh button to refresh the Room Chart view with the selected filter criteria.

The color legend is located across the top of the chart and helps to indicate the status of the room for the date(s) where applied.

NOTE: If you wish to perform actions (add, move, modify stays) within the room chart, be sure the Make Room Chart Interactive check box is enabled.  If this box is not checked, the room chart will load quickly but will not be interactive.  Checking this box will slow the building speed of the room chart, but you will be able to add, view, modify stay information from within the room chart.

Room numbers appear on the left side of the chart with the dates going from left to right across the top of the chart.  The Room number area also shows the current status of the room (Occupied, Dirty, Clean, etc) and whether it is smoking (cigarette icon) or connecting to another room (door icon).

If the room has guests assigned to it for dates within the date range shown, the names of those guests appear in the appropriate cell (by room number/date).

The Room Chart also displays rooms that are marked as Out of Order/Do Not Sell, as well as room that are blocked as part of a suite.  The colors in the chart indicate whether the reservation is guaranteed or in house; and if the room is blocked due to an out of order status or part of a suite room (if your property is using suite rooms).  The color legend appears at the top of the chart for quick reference.

If you built the chart with the "Make Room Chart Interactive" option selected, you can:
