Walk-In (Quick check-In)

A Walk-In is a guest check-in for someone who does not have a Reservation, allowing you to simultaneously generate and check in a Stay. The Walk-In command opens a check-in screen comprising of a single form with entry fields for date (with the arrival date field grayed out as the arrival is assumed to be today), rate, guest, and payment information divided into sections, with the top showing a quick display of any current information regarding the walk-in reservation you are about to both generate and check in, with a "Check-In >>" button for when you are ready. You will need to fill in ALL the information for a walk-in check-in, as opposed to Check-In with Reservation where at least some of the information will already have been completed. When finished, using the Check-In button generates a stay with the FOL (In-House) status.

Note: The quick check-in screen used for walk-ins is identical to the quick check-in screen used for check-ins with reservations except that the arrival date is grayed out when using the Walk-In button, as the arrival is assumed to be today. It is almost identical to the quick reservation screen, the major difference being that at the end of filling in the form, the orange button to click will be "Check-In" rather than "Finish", which checks in the reservation and applies the Fol status to the Folio, rather than the RESV status.
